Øyvind Lyslo, guitar

 

Øyvind Lyslo is a Norwegian guitarist, arranger, composer and music producer from Sandane in Nordfjord. He studied classical guitar at the Grieg Academy in Bergen, the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and the Frankfurt am Main University for Music and Performing Arts.  Øyvind Lyslo has played concerts in Venezuela, Germany, East-Timor, England, Scotland, Poland, Netherlands, Iceland, Sweden and Norway, both as soloist as well as in duos, trios and other chamber ensembles.

Lyslo has done several CD recordings both as a performer, arranger and composer, and the CD "Syngande strenger" with the Norwegian hardanger fiddle player Arne M. Sølvberg received both national and international acclaim as well as a nomination for the Norwegian "Grammy Award", Spelemannsprisen. 

Øyvind Lyslo is a versatile musician mastering a variety of musical styles like contemporary, classical, folk, popular and latin music. He performs regularly with some of the best singers and instrumentalists in Norway, both traditional and contemporary music as well as in dance and theatre performances. He is also a member of the Norwegian Guitar Trio.
